Background

My background is mathematics, graduating from the MMath course offered at 海角社区 in 2008. I have a preference for most forms of analysis, with some of they key areas I studied being dynamical systems, the theory of PDEs and functional analysis. My fourth year project focused on properties of Frenkel-Kontorova models under the supervision of Dr. Claude Baesens, which steered my direction towards the more applied areas of mathematics. This naturally led to me joining the Complexity DTC in 2008, where I graduated with an MSc in 2009. The two mini-projects I covered during this period can be found under Research.
