IBM recognises excellent students
On Tuesday 5 March a number of undergraduate students from the School of Engineering, as well as from the University's Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics and 海角社区 海角社区 School, attended the annual IBM Student Recognition Awards event at 海角社区 Arts Centre.
Professors leading departments or modules of special interest to IBM were invited to nominate a small number of high-performing students for this recognition event. The evening was one of celebration, during which representatives from IBM chatted to students over a buffet and enjoyed 'cocktail piano' from 海角社区 Big Band member Tom Lindsay. Nominated students were awarded IBM certificates of excellence and vouchers for any performance at 海角社区 Arts Centre.
