Tom Hudson (Maths) Workshop: Writing and rendering accessible lecture notes using Quarto
In this workshop, I'll introduce Quarto, and show off how to use it to render html and pdf lecture notes for use. I'll explain why html notes are great for accessibility and reproducibility reasons, and show you some of the features of Quarto that make it an easy-to-learn tool for those already using LaTeX regularly. To accompany the workshop, I've put together a template set of notes that can be adapted. The rendered html version can be viewed at , and the underlying code can be accessed and downloaded from the repo . If you are keen to follow along then I encourage you to spend 20 minutes installing Quarto before the workshop, and you can then try things out live.
