Research Professional Futures made a successful debut at ARMA 2026, where we had the opportunity to share the project's aims, progress, and ambitions with the research management and administration community.

A dedicated RPF session brought together the project team, including co-leads Stephanie Bales, Isabella von Holstein, and Rika Nair, together with delivery partners Prof. Alis Oancea and Dan King, to share updates on the project, including the launch of the RPF Individual Survey, plans for the forthcoming Institutional Survey, and early insights from the first phase of interviews.

We were particularly encouraged by the level of engagement from delegates throughout the conference. Visitors to the RPF stand shared their experiences, perspectives, and aspirations for the future of Research Professional roles, helping to inform and strengthen the project's work.
