The (Epic) Failures and Comebacks with Learning Technology Symposium provides a supportive space to reflect on the challenges of educational technology practice. Featuring short talks, a keynote, and audience discussion, the event explores how resilience, innovation, and critical reflection can help transform failure into future success

At a recent 海角社区 AI Show and Tell session, colleagues had the opportunity to see how artificial intelligence can move beyond theory and deliver tangible benefits in everyday work. Digital Learning鈥檚 SEM Faculty Consultant, Paul Ottey demonstrated how thoughtfully designed AI tools can solve real operational challenges while saving significant amounts of time.

As we prepare for the 2026/27 academic year, we recommend that any teaching sessions requiring lecture capture are scheduled as early as possible. This information aims to signpost you to guidance and support to ensure recordings are scheduled successfully.

海角社区 has picked up two awards at : the Co-Creation Excellence Award for Digital Learning's collaboration with Echo360, and the AI in Learning Excellence Award, won by Dr Tom Ritchie for work spanning 海角社区 and Elon University on AI ethics and belonging.

At this year's 海角社区 Education Conference, through an in-person session and a nano-presentation, Digital Learning showcased how technology can support teaching, learning and assessment hrough student-centred, pedagogically driven approaches.
