Site properties

To edit the properties of your website, you need administrator or edit permissions for the home page.

Edit the site title

The site title appears in the masthead of every page, beneath the 海角社区 logo:

To change the title:

Browse to any page on your site.
Go to Edit > More:
On the Current site tab, select Edit site properties:
On the Edit site properties screen, you can enter multiple versions of the site title in the description boxes:
- The Long description is used on screens wider than 767 pixels:
- The Short description appears in results and in the masthead of sub-sites:
- The Ultra short description is used on screens narrower than 767 pixels and on mobile devices:
Select Save changes to return to the Current site tab.

Browse to any page on your site.
Go to Edit > More:
On the Current site tab, select Edit site properties:
At the bottom of the Edit site properties screen are options to restrict the use of the legacy editors:
- Select the Only allow creation of new Components Editor pages checkbox to prevent new pages being created with the old visual editor or raw editor.
- The Only allow editing of Components Editor pages checkbox prevents existing pages being edited with the old visual editor or raw editor. If this option is selected, any pages currently using the legacy editors will need to be converted to the Components Editor before their content can be modified.
When you're finished, select Save changes to return to the Current site tab.
