These short international experiences can work around your degree, either taking place during vacations or during term time without extending your course length.

Spotlighted opportunities are those we have regularly sent students to, have a wider relationship with, or which offer discount to 海角社区 students
Some opportunities will require you to be nominated through us and we will run a suitable process for this - specific details will be given at the links provided
External links provided have been brought to our attention through partner universities or by other means
Students are personally responsible to confirm with their department that they can undertake any opportunity which overlaps term/ study time and should only apply once this is received

Please note that normally it is not possible for 海角社区 students to receive credit transfers from Summer Schools unless your home department has advertised an opportunity with such a possibility. It is up to your home department to agree to credit transfers so you will need to check this with them directly

To participate in an activity, or to take a role, which we are nominating students for and/or students are receiving funding from University of 海角社区, students must be enrolled at the University. For 海角社区 led programmes finalists must be enrolled on an extension module to ensure their continued enrolment.

The University will undertake proportionate suitability checks prior to confirming participation in this activity. This may include consultation with relevant University departments (such as Student Records, Wellbeing, Student Discipline, Student Conduct and Student Complaints) for the purpose of assessing enrolment status, safeguarding considerations and suitability to travel or undertake the role.

Only information which is necessary and relevant to that assessment will be shared, and in some cases, departments may provide an assessment of suitability rather than disclosing detailed personal data.
