11/11: Year 11 Languages and Careers

This day is suitable for students in Year 10 and/or Year 11 who have an interest and aptitude for languages and may be interested in pursuing this at A' level. The day will include:

A Cultural Taster session

A Taster session in a new language (Korean, Russian, Chinese or Arabic TBC)

An employability session with SMLC students and alumni

30/09 5pm-6:30pm: Year 12 and 13 Webinar "Going Global"- Making Languages part of your Degree Course

23/11-14/12: Modern Languages Christmas Card Competition

We welcome entries in all languages from primary and secondary schools to our annual Modern Languages Christmas Card Competition. Prizes and certificates will be awarded in Key Stage 2 and 3. Entries should show accurate use of language and lots of creativity! Please send via post to:
