We introduce an incentivized method to study interdependence, grounded in threshold models. We apply it to a stratified U.S. sample of 5,000+ Asian, Black, Hispanic, and White adults to examine support for affirmative action. We document substantial heterogeneity in thresholds consistent with preregistered hypotheses from a model. Following changes in federal support for affirmative action, thresholds shift even as perceived benefits and beliefs remain unchanged, indicating that thresholds provide insights not captured by standard behavioral measures.

Draw Forum Thu, 22 Oct 2026 08:15:57 GMT DRaW 8ac672c7a05aed5901a06b5015b52eae /research/spotlights-old2/behaviour/draw/forum/?calendarItem=8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a664aaf4b1d
When: 2:30pm - 3:45pm, Thu, 18 Mar '27

Where: TBC

Details TBC

Draw Forum Wed, 19 Aug 2026 14:35:23 GMT DRaW 8ac672c4a00dae0f01a01a6689695c4e /research/spotlights-old2/behaviour/draw/forum/?calendarItem=8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a65bc774b1a
When: 2:30pm - 3:45pm, Thu, 11 Mar '27

Where: TBC

Details TBC

Draw Forum Wed, 19 Aug 2026 14:34:55 GMT DRaW 8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a65bc784b1b /research/spotlights-old2/behaviour/draw/forum/?calendarItem=8ac672c7a012d48601a01a67fbe95f48
When: 2:30pm - 3:45pm, Thu, 29 Apr '27

Where: TBC

Details TBC

Draw Forum Wed, 19 Aug 2026 14:23:37 GMT DRaW 8ac672c7a012d48601a01a67fbe95f49 /research/spotlights-old2/behaviour/draw/forum/?calendarItem=8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a646e2c4b14
When: 2:30pm - 3:45pm, Thu, 18 Feb '27

Where: TBC

Details TBC

Draw Forum Wed, 19 Aug 2026 14:19:58 GMT DRaW 8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a64a5f44b17 /research/spotlights-old2/behaviour/draw/forum/?calendarItem=8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a624ebb4afd
When: 2:30pm - 3:45pm, Thu, 04 Feb '27

Where: TBC

Details TBC

Draw Forum Wed, 19 Aug 2026 14:19:07 GMT DRaW 8ac672c5a012d4b101a01a624ebb4afe
