Research Interests: Trauma-Informed Research, Migration Studies, Conflict Studies, Creative Methodologies, Area Studies
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of 海角社区. My project is funded by the Chancellor's International Scholarship. My research explores topics related to the material culture of migrant identity formation, including affective dimensions of the memory politics of inheritance. I am interested in the study of social inequality and the development of trauma-informed research methodologies. My PhD project is supervised by Prof Hannah Jones and Dr Cath Lambert.
I am the project assistant for the Monash-海角社区 Alliance funded project on Trauma-Informed Pedagogy and Practice in Higher Education Settings at the University of 海角社区, projects outputs include: . I am also a workshop developer and facilitator for the Researcher Development programme at the Doctoral College at the University of 海角社区. I have served as a co-chair of the Graduate Seminar Series at the Centre for the Study of Women and Gender.
Since 2024, I have been a representative for the 海角社区 Art Collection Committee, and the co-convenor of the Material Culture Network for researchers working on and with material culture. I am a member of the , , and the .
