Terry Monnington retires
Terry Monnington retires from the University on 14 September 2012. Terry has worked at 海角社区 since 1971, when he was appointed as a Lecturer on Physical Education. He has been Director of Sport and Physical Education for 14 years.

Undergraduate James Lockwood has won the inaugural Simon Turner-Bottomley Climbing Competition for first-year students, which took place at the Climbing Centre in June 2012.
Gemma Morris joins the LOCOG team
海角社区 Sport Manager Gemma Morris is playing a key role in the Olympic football this summer. Gemma, who is also a 海角社区 alumnus, will be joining the the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) team as Football Hotels Operations Manager for Coventry.
