Work Worth Loving: How Job Crafting Strengthens Energy, Creativity, and Impact with Laura Best
What if the key to unlocking greater potential, creativity, and impact lies in doing more of what we love?
Join author, speaker, and founder of the global community Passion Collective, Laura Best, for an inspiring and practical keynote exploring how passion can be a powerful catalyst for innovation, engagement, and performance at work. Drawing on her corporate experience and more than a decade of leading communities around the world, Laura will introduce the concept of job crafting and show how small, intentional changes can transform the way we work, contribute, and connect with others.
Through engaging storytelling, evidence-based insights, and actionable strategies, this energising session will explore how doing more of what we love can boost performance, strengthen workplace relationships, and create momentum that benefits individuals and teams alike.

Laura Best is a keynote speaker, bestselling author, and founder of Passion Collective, a global community helping professionals reconnect with what makes them come alive in work and life. A former marketing leader for global brands, Laura launched Passion Collective in 2014 and has since reached thousands through events, talks, and microgrants awarded to Passion Seekers in three continents. Her debut, bestselling book, Born to Buzz (2025), introduces 12 transformational 鈥淪parks鈥 to help readers rediscover their passion without leaving their responsibilities behind. Featured in global media including Fast Company and known for her honesty, humour, and practical insight, Laura inspires people to build more meaningful, "passion-first" lives鈥攔ight where they are.The session will run from 1.30pm 鈥 2.30pm, followed by a meet and greet and book signing (approximately 10-15 minutes). Attendees interested in the meet and greet are encouraged to purchase a copy of Born to Buzz in advance and bring it along to be signed with a personalised message from Laura.

Founder Anne Wilson retires from the University
Anne founded IWW over 10 years ago when she saw a need to have a women's network group that encouraged the career development of female staff at the University of 海角社区. Anne retired in July 2024, and is now a freelance trainer - mostly women's development and career coaching. You can read her blog:

The Inspiring Women Staff Group was recognised in the Social Inclusion Excellence in Gender Equality Awards 2023 for its "...contribution to the enhancement of gender equality and a commitment to building more inclusive environments and experiences through everyday behaviours at the University of 海角社区."
