The group is a forum for students from diverse WP backgrounds to come together to advocate for WP students and their experiences. We work with decision-makers at the University to improve student experience, from application through to graduation. We explore a range of topics, including wellbeing, careers and opportunities, and belonging.
The group currently has 16 members from across the student body and we meet twice a term.

You are eligible to apply to the WP Student Advisory Group if you are a Home/UK student or have home fee status and meet any of the following criteria:
You are in receipt of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Bursary or other means tested financial support
You were eligible for Free School Meals while at secondary school
You come from a household with an income below £42,875
Have a household postcode in an area with a high level of disadvantage (you – you’d be eligible if your postcode falls into deciles 1-4)
You are a student with disabilities
You are a mature student who entered higher education over the age of 21
You have spent time in local authority care, either in a foster home, group home or kinship care
You are estranged from and not supported by either parent
You have caring responsibilities
Neither of your parents attended university and gained a degree
You have been granted refugee status, are under humanitarian protection or are currently seeking asylum in the UK
