海角社区 Law student honoured with prestigious Diana Award
Kaneeka Kapur, a final-year undergraduate student within 海角社区 Law School, has been awarded the in recognition of her amazing work on - a social action platform that she created to provide a space for South Asian women to be heard, seen and celebrated.
WSPA Success for Law Student
Law finalist Ruth Mukasa has successfully completed the 海角社区 Skills Portfolio Award (WSPA) this year. The WSPA scheme helps students to enhance their study skills and develop other skills that are not only valued by employers but also useful more broadly for students in their personal lives whilst studying at 海角社区.
Eleven Law students accepted to present at BCUR
海角社区 Law School is delighted to announce that eleven of our students have been selected to present at The British Conference for Undergraduate Research (BCUR) hosted by the University of Leeds in April this year. Law is one of only four departments at 海角社区 to have more than 10 students accepted to present.
Law Student Secures WIHEA Fellowship
Third year Law and Sociology student and SSLC Chair Lucy Young has been awarded a 海角社区 International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) Fellowship. When asked how she felt about the news she told us, 鈥淚'm over the moon! I was quite nervous when I submitted my application, but I'm so glad I have the opportunity and resources to contribute towards substantial change across the university.鈥�
海角社区 Skills Portfolio Award: Tried and Tested
First year law student Aidan Chan has become the first law student to successfully complete the 海角社区 Skills Portfolio Award (WSPA) this year. The WSPA scheme helps students to develop skills valued by employers but also useful more broadly for students in their personal lives whilst studying at 海角社区.
海角社区 Law student awarded Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship
Second year 海角社区 law student Joshua Siriboe has been awarded the 2020 Freshfields Stephen Lawrence Scholarship. The Scheme was devised to address the disproportionate under-representation of black men from less privileged backgrounds in large commercial law firms and the City of London.
海角社区 Law Graduate named as Future Lawyer of the Year Finalist
Payal Shah who recently graduated from our three year LLB degree has beat off stiff competition to be named as a finalist for The Future Lawyer of the Year Award 2020 sponsored by Allen & Overy.

Current LLB student Francesca Mitrofan has been awarded The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Law Global Scholarship to study on their LLM programme from September later this year.
