Discover how to give award winning presentations. This course explores storytelling, improves confidence and shows you the key to successful talks. Ideal for 3 Minute Thesis or pitching questions.
Discover how to give the most engaging, interesting and memorable presentations possible. This workshop will guide you through the secrets of how to deliver a standout presentation from design to delivery. Led by award-winning presenter Dr Jamie Gallagher, the session explores how to banish nerves, create eye-catching visuals and how to create a narrative around even the most complex of topics.
Objectives
Following this workshop, you should be able to:
- Understand how to turn research into a compelling narrative
- Prepare a high quality, engaging pitch/presentation
- Feel comfortable and confident while delivering talks
- Understand the use of language, body language and visualisation in presenting

is an award-winning freelance communicator and engagement professional with ten years鈥� experience in the delivery and evaluation of quality engagement projects. Working across dozens of institutions and subject areas he has improved the reach, profile and impact of research engagement in almost every academic discipline.

This session is subject to our training cancellation policy. If you can no longer attend you must give at least 7 days notice to cancel your place of else receive a strike on your record. Those with two strikes will be barred from future training and WIE Funding until the following academic year.
